Generate Coupon Codes
Coupon Codes are the strings customers enter at checkout—
WELCOME10
,FALL‑B2G1
, etc. They point to a Coupon (the rules you just created).
1 Open a coupon
Billing Setup → Coupons → click the coupon’s Nickname → open the Codes tab. Choose Add Code.
2 Single code vs bulk
Mode | Use when | What you enter |
---|---|---|
Single | You need one specific code (e.g. WELCOME10 ) | Exact code text |
Bulk generate | You need dozens/hundreds of unique codes | A base code (optional) + how many to create |
Example: base code SUMMER
+ Generate 100 → creates SUMMER‑AB12
, SUMMER‑XF89
, … up to 100 codes.
3 Optional limits
Field | Purpose |
---|---|
Redeem by date | Code stops working after this day |
Times redeemable (all users) | Total uses across every customer |
Leave them blank for no limit.
4 Visibility & archive
- Codes inherit the Usable by setting of their parent Coupon.
- To kill a code early, open it and click Delete (existing discounts already used on orders stay intact).
5 Save (or generate)
Click Create for one code, or Generate Codes for bulk.
Bulk results download as a .csv
so you can email or print them.
You’re done!
Clients can now enter the code at checkout, or you can apply it manually in the dashboard.
