Dashboard Preferences
Dashboard Preferences let you decide what your clients (and your team) see first when they open the app.
1 Open Preferences → Dashboard
Left menu → Settings → Preferences → Dashboard
All options update instantly — no “save” button needed.
2 Show (or hide) the Leaderboard
Toggle | What it does |
---|---|
Show Leaderboard | Turns the leaderboard widget on/off for everyone. |
Once the leaderboard is on, a new block of settings appears:
Setting | Purpose |
---|---|
Leaderboard Position | High / Medium / Low decides where the widget sits relative to other dashboard tiles. |
Scrolling Profiles | Animates profile photos horizontally for a little extra buzz. |
Leaderboard Title | Rename the header (e.g. “Hall of Fame”). |
Entity Title | Rename “points” to “miles”, “visits”, etc. |
Category Filter | Adds a category dropdown so users can filter scores. |
Time Range | Year / Month / Week leaderboards. |
Days Back | For custom periods (e.g. last 90 days). |
Apply Location to Leaderboard | If your calendar forces a location selection, the leaderboard can respect that filter too. |
All leaderboard copy supports plain text only (no markdown).
3 Dashboard Alerts
Field | What clients see |
---|---|
Dashboard Alert Banner Message | A coloured strip at the top of the dashboard. Perfect for holiday hours, special announcements, etc. (Plain text, single-line — line-breaks are ignored.) |
4 Admin-only widgets
Toggle | Where it appears | Why you might use it |
---|---|---|
Show Attendance Dashboard | Admin dashboard | Quick attendance stats without running a report. |
Show Customer Calendar Dashboard | Admin dashboard | See upcoming bookings and customer activity at a glance. |
(“Orders Dashboard” will appear in future releases; it’s disabled for now.)
