Create Event Templates
Event Templates are reusable blueprints. They pre‑fill the event editor so you can drop new classes on the calendar in seconds.
1 Open Calendar Setup → Event Templates
Left menu → Settings → Calendar Setup → Event Templates
Click Add Template.
2 Template nickname
Give the template a clear internal name—clients never see it, but you will when picking from the template list.
3 Core details
Field | What it means |

Event Title | Shows to clients on the calendar and in emails |
Duration (min) | Length of the class/appointment |
Repeat As | None (one‑off), Standard repetition (weekly pattern), Repeat as timeslot (mini‑slots inside a bigger block) |
Category | Colours & filters the event |
Attendance list visibility | Who sees the attendee list |
4 Optional extras
Option | When to use |
---|---|
Cost | Attach a price or credit requirement |
Capacity | Limit seats; 0 = unlimited |
Description | Markdown‑friendly long text (shows on booking page) |
Toggle each option on to reveal its field, or Remove to hide it again.
5 Visibility switch
Active
on → template appears in the New Event dialog.
Active
off → hides it without deleting (good for seasonal classes).
6 Save
Click Save. The template drops into the list, grouped by category and sorted alphabetically.
How templates work
- Scheduling – pick a template, choose date/time, done.
- Editing – changing a template does not alter events already on the calendar.
- Archiving – delete or toggle Active off; past events stay intact.
